Ben Wright, the author of The Wright Price Guide for the Reel Man, has been involved with collecting spinning reels for close to 40 years.  He is the leading authority on spinning reel history and values. Ben is fondly known as the guru of spinning reels among collectors.  His knowledge of reel specifics is exemplarily and is highly respected by collectors worldwide.  Ben is a resident of New York State and is a retired general contractor who specialized in restoration and remodeling of homes.  Ben received  from ORCA his  lifetime honorary membership  in 2006  and served as President for one term and as Vice President for two terms.  Ben also is one of the principal founders of a joint venture between European collectors and North American collectors.  He is currently working on his fifth and final book on spinning reels, which like his others, discusses the history and values of reels.  This book will be available in the latter part of 2010.
